Trails in great shape. 1 large blowdown blocking trail .4 miles from trailhead. The tree supporting this blowdown is under great pressure. |

Black flies and mosquitoes are out. Deet came in handy. Ticks are out as well. Usually they dont attach to me but I found one. |

Great hike on a nicely designed trail system. After sumitting I continued on to the New found view which was nice. Took Pikes Peak spur on return which had incredible views. Blazing on trails is a mix of blue blazes,yellow blaze markers,and circular blaze markers. |
