Rock hops or stepovers, no problem. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns within first half mile from trailhead. Some were cut up, but there are a few more down. Stepovers. Some deep pockets of erosion on trail just below first ledge, a herd path formed in the woods. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Sure, good water at stream crossings right now, drier in last mile. Saw one today. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Some blackflies but it was breezy and held them at bay. After cold temps tonight and snow they may go bye-bye for a bit. One little yellow butterfly. |

 | Comments: |
One car upon arrival, two others upon return to lot. All parked strategically. Saw four humans today and one doggo.
Blue bead lily in flower and lots of happy birds singing in the woods.
Nice little waterfall right now about a half mile in.
