We were able to drive Bear Mountain Road all the way to the col between Big Sugarloaf and Bear Mountain. Road was in pretty good shape except for a several large boulders/washouts across the road - Jeep Wrangler or rugged truck recommended - need large clearance. |

Terrific quick after lunch hike on our way to practice our flyfishing casting at Grey Rocks at the top of Newfound Lake. Super gorgeous hike as usual. LOVE this section of the Elwell Trail. |
