 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The road to the trailhead has been somewhat repaired, so driving in is much nicer to the bottom of your car. 6 cars around 2:30, only 2 around 7pm. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Bottom mud pit is wet, but passable. Occasional spots that are wet, particularly in the first 1.5 miles. Overall in good condition though. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Hauled the saws with me and got 7 blowdowns out of the way. Someone has been up since early spring and cleaned up the messy ridge between peaks - it looks great.
Three more blowdowns will eventually need a pro to work on:
(44.4336831, -71.4216021) Four part leaner - 6’ high - half way on ridge
(44.4337341, -71.4220313) big leaner partially in trail
(44.4337138, -71.4259510) doorway 7’ high |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
One very friendly one |

 | Bugs: |
A fair number down low, but nothing bug spray couldn't handle. |

 | Comments: |
Starr King is in really good shape all the way to Waumbek. It's wet in all the normal spots, but those can be avoided. Big thanks to whoever cleared up the ridge recently - it's in great shape. |
