 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I was the second car at the Glen Ellis parking area. $5 to park or the WMNF pass. Neither restroom had toilet paper upon my arrival (but I carry my own for just such situations...) but were well stocked upon my return. Plenty of room to park. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All the little stream crossings were not an issue and there are many places along Glen Boulder trail to filter water. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are still some blowdowns on Davis Path once you descend back into the trees. Most are easy step overs but there is one that I had to squeeze myself through the largest open spot while dodging pointy limbs. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
No puppers seen today. :( This route requires some serious elevation gain and some scrambling which may be challenging for some doggos. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Mosquitos down low and black flies above treeline. On my return the clouds had really come in which seemed to keep the bugs at bay. The summit of Isolation has been claimed by black flies. I waved my white flag and surrendered to them and ran for my life. |

 | Lost and Found: |
There is a pink hat in the trees just below Glen Boulder. I left it where it hung. |
