 | Comments: |
Was going to hit Eisenhower, but after finding out the road closed (see note above), pivoted to Pierce from the Crawford Connector lot. Crawford Path is in fine shape. Most rocks are dry (but not bone dry), but flatter and compacted sections of trail remain muddy and moist. The Mizpah Cutoff was mostly wet and muddy, but easily navigated with rock hopping. Webster Jackson Tr between the hut and Pierce summit fine overall, all bog bridges and ladder steps intact. Plenty of folks out today but a nice cruise back down Crawford Path after linking up with a buddy! |
