 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
At 8am there were quite a few cars at the Liberty Springs lot just above the Flume lots. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All reasonably easy rock hops. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape, with no blowdowns really blocking things. There was one trunk practically on the ground, an easy step-over. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a few, enjoying the trail. Above the main crossing, there isn't much opportunity for watering a dog, other than at the tent site's spring (a very slow flow). |
 | Bugs: |
Mostly not a problem, but noticeable around the tent site. Some biting black flies. |

 | Comments: |
An OTHH hike. We figured we'd decide at the top of Liberty if we were going on to Flume. In the end, two did, while the rest of us headed back down. The day was warm, and all that rock on the trail between the ridge and on that long upward stretch to the tent site was tedious and tiring, so we were content to do just Liberty. |
