Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Rocks hops on most, one bridged, water levels good at all crossings
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails in excellent shape. I remember one or two mid trail rocks on Amphibranch (that are stepping stones) that were pretty loose and tippy, one about 1.5 miles in, another 1 mile in. Saw a crew doing trail work on Lowe's Path, thank you!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few, one putting the brakes on halfway up Madison summit, and two corgis heading up to Chandler Falls....kudos to them with their low ground clearance for plugging away, hard chargers!
Bugs
Bugs: Some biting flies on some sections of trails, one of three of us put on bug spray, otherwise not bad. Saw some tiger swallowtail butterflies, a few bees, nothing crazy.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found an abandoned tripod near Duck Falls on Lower Bruin, we left it there in case owner came back.

Comments
Comments: Epic two days of blue skies and other favorable conditions over the presies. Amazing two days above treeline.

Took the opportunity to take the waterfall trails, good enough flows right now for seeing all of them along Fallsway and Brookside, and caught Chandler Falls on the way off Adams. Lovely.

Main trails were very busy, we mainly used less used trails when possible for some peace and found it.
