Comments
Comments: A great day to be out! Clear views across Wild River wilderness with Snowy Presis peaking over the Carters and great views of the Royces, Speckled and Caribou, trail offers many views from ledeges along the way and amazing views once you hit the alpine zone. Baldface Circle past stream crossing and before lower junction with Bicknell Ridge had mud and running water in the usual spots but easily traversed. Bicknell Ridge dry with a few spots of mud. Baldface Circle trail above upper junction with Bicknell Ridge had mud in the usual places - deep in spots but can be handled with rock hopping or using the sides. In sag before Eagle Crag 2 minor spots with ice that are easily navigated. Met many people out today. This ridge is still one of my favorite places.
