Comments
Comments: Since Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire's (SELT) acquisition of Mt. Jesse was completed in January of this year, the former no trespassing signs have been removed and the public is welcome to enjoy the summit. And what a summit it is! Far-reaching views north to the White Mountains and extensive blueberry fields that are absolutely popping right now. We grazed. The access road is steep in it's upper half but is otherwise easy walking. There are no formal marked/signed hiking trails here yet.

After enjoying the views, we followed Snowmobile Corridor 22 back toward the spotted car. I'd walked this before and for a snowmobile route, it's a pretty nice and easy cruise through even more blueberry fields and pitch pine forest.

Thanks you to SELT for protecting this property and this addition continues a loop of conserved land around Merrymeeting Lake. Hoping Caverly Mtn. is next on their radar?
