Comments
Comments: Did this loop to pick up some tracing. This was actually a nice way to get to the summit of Crescent. L
Carlton Notch Trail is pretty. Gradual climb through a beautiful mixed wood forest. Soft footbed. Crescent Ridge Trail was a nice ridge walk with one steep section. There is a biew to the north, they have included a nice bench. This view, according to another hiker, is of the Kilkenn. Then we picked up the Mt. Crescent Trail, which brought us out to amazing views of the northern President ials. I found this way to Mt. Crescent much more to my liking, because the way most people go is damn steep and a little scary descending. More rocks, too. Went a little bit on the Castleloop, saw the views, and went back to the Mt. Crescent Trail and Peeks path to finish up. Thank you RMC and the Randolph Community Forest for this wonderful day. Will be back for Four Soldiers and the Underhill Path.
