Multiple water crossings on Castle Ravine all manageable with gore-tex boots and trekking poles. No wet feet. |

Both trails well maintained. Very few paint markers on scrambling section of Castle Ravine. |

Some mosquitoes last two miles on trail on descent. |

 | Comments: |
Very foggy and windy near summit late morning, but eventually became clear and sunny by early afternoon. Chilly on summit with high winds and temperatures in the mid to high thirties. Saw total of about ten other hikers above tree-line over the course of the day. |
