 | Water Crossing Notes: |
most are easily walked over - the crossing by the closed bridge required one short jump. I crossed 15-20 feet downstream from the bridge. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Great Gulf was a bit overgrown and can be a bit tricky to follow up high, but not too bad. A few blow-downs higher up on Great Gulf and Wamsutta, but only one that was tricky to navigate. |

No pooched spotted today. |

 | Bugs: |
Present, but not bothersome on the way up. Non-existent at the summit due to high winds. Slightly bothersome once I was back in the trees on the way down. |

 | Lost and Found: |
I packed out and disposed of a broken trekking pole and a Capri sun pouch. A pair of Leki poles were in the parking lot, which I left by the trail map kiosk. |

Great Gulf is beautiful a lot of fun, but the headwall section is steep! Summit of Washington was super busy on this blustery day with clouds passing by frequently. I regretted not packing gloves, as the wind dropped the temp up high. Nelson Crag has views for days, but the rocks are rough on the knees. Wamsutta is cool, short and very steep in a couple spots. Long, but enjoyable day. |
