 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There were 2 cars in the lot when we arrived and when we finished there were a few on the road as well. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Super easy rock hops thanks to the low water levels. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are step over blow downs all along the way and there is still the one larger blowdown on Bunnell Notch trail before the junction with Kilkenny Ridge trail that requires a big step over for us vertically challenged humans. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Lily and Chuck had a GREAT time and got plenty of pets and attention. This is a good route for dogs. There is ample water down low and a few puddles here and there higher up. I didn't check to see if the spring near the summit is running but that could be another option. |
 | Bugs: |
Only deer flies. I can confirm one kill for sure. |
 | Lost and Found: |
There was a shirt hanging from a tree on the Kilkenny Ridge trail below the summit. We left it there. |
