We were able to drive Bear Mountain Road all the way to the col between Big Sugarloaf and Bear Mountain. Road was in pretty good shape except for a several large boulders/washouts across the road - Jeep Wrangler or rugged truck recommended - need large clearance. |

Terrific afternoon for us jetlagged old folks!!! Just what was needed. Love this section of the Elwell Trail - very dry and get some cardio!!! Around 18 minutes each way with this approach. |
