Thoreau Falls Trail, the Wilderness Trail, and Shoal Pond Trail all have signficant blowdowns you can step over, and some you need to negotiate. Parts of Thoreau Falls and the Wilderness have avalanched into their rivers and divert. Shoal Pond is quite wet, and there are many missing bog bridges, be cautious on the railroad spikes sticking up. |
