A late afternoon start of these trails. Rim Junction had great views of the basin and beyond. The goal was at least Blue Brook Tentsite but ended up crossing the wild river searching for a site for the night. After a quick dip i ended crossing back over and found a spot for the night. It was nice quickly chatting with the hiker i met just before hitting basin rim as well as the group of campers that made it up after viewing hermit falls. Great job!Wild River campground remains closed as the road is washed in several places. Roadwalk went by quickly just the same |
