Comments
Comments: Tom Wiggins was just as I expected- not in bad shape by any means just not the perfection that the other trails in the area are! With 3 points of contact, the loose stuff really isn't bad- I just wouldn't want to go down it. McCrillis is a bigger elevation gain than blueberry ledge for sure, with near-all the gain happening in the last two miles. Where you don't have blueberry ledges, you definitely make up in cardio requirements with relentless up- only to still have ledges to ascend. This one wouldn't be fun in the rain.
