Comments
Comments: Started bushwhack at col and followed herd paths through open woods, mossy areas, ferns and some open pencil pines to summit. 1.5 miles, 225 feet elevation, 1:45 hr. Afterwards we drove to the scenic point. We parked at the loop junction and walked clockwise. One could probably drive to vista in an AWD high clearance vehicle. Great views and educational sign about the Pittsburg's history of independent governance.
