	Parking/Access Road Notes:	There was only one other car in the hiker lot when I arrived. When I finished there was still only one other car in that lot. I think others parked in the parking for the ski area which is fine.

	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock

	Recommended Equipment:

	Water Crossing Notes:	N/A

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	The erosion on this trail is the biggest issue. It's literally like a half pipe for skateboarding in some areas.

	Dog-Related Notes:	2 good doggos were spotted today. This route could be tricky for less experienced trail dogs. The steepness of the trail combined with the footing may require some assistance.

	Bugs:	Not an issue today.

	Lost and Found:	Nothing lost and nothing found.


	Comments:	I hadn't done this route since June when Steve, Chase and I did it and had summit brownies, so I decided to change it up to re-hike it today. I needed a short hike so I could get back for some afternoon shenanigans and this worked fine. The kitty litter luge of death was damp due to the humidity which helped with footing. On the other hand the humidity made all the rocks damp too which did not help with footing. Up higher the rocks were nice and dry and my painfully slow ascent finally sped up. The views were incredible today and Cannon seems to often put on a nice show with clouds too and today was no exception. I had the tower to myself for snackies but really missed brownies and Hostess donuts. My Nutrigrain bar was subpar in comparison. On my descent I finally started to see people and stopped to talk with several friendly families. I was home in time for lunch so it was a great day!
