Trail creep is a growing issue. Upper stone steps on lower Brook Trail are being undermined by people going around them; steps and embankment will fail if this continues. Switchbacks on Brook Trail above Saddle Trail are also being skipped, creating more erosion and loss of vegetation. |

Trails were fairly dry this afternoon in the woods, but ski trail crossings were damp from the passing shower around lunchtime.
Some leaves starting to turn.
Cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the lower 70s. |
