Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One tiny stream at beginning of hike. Everything else is dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trails are in great condition. Not even a stepover on the entire hike. A special commendation to the person caring for the Orange trail off Piper. It is in very, very good condition and particularly well marked with both paint and cairns.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: WATER, WATER, WATER. The trails are bone dry. Lauky drank all the water I had carried for him.
Bugs
Bugs: A few at the car when I returned, otherwise none at all; not even any ticks.

Comments
Comments: Found the geocaches on both Whiteface and at the plane wreck on Belknap. I could not find the cache on Piper. I seriously suspect that it is gone.

The trails are bone dry. There is no snow, ice or mud on the trails right now.
