We were the first car at the gate by the intersection where the service road to the lodge splits off. At 2pm there were 10-12. |

There are wood bridges over the crossings. |

The trails are in good shape, with no blowdowns seen. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
There were two headed up with their person, a trail runner, high up and not too far from the final approach to the summit. At the south peak, a very friendly pup came into the open ledge area ahead of its people, greeting all of us having lunch there. |

We started up in fog, but after a while the fog got brighter, until we were above the cloud in sunshine, with blue sky all around. At the top the view was mainly the top of the cloud deck, with only the highest peaks poking up through. By the time we were back at the cars, we had sunshine there also. The trails were wet down where the clouds had been, but mostly dry up high where the sun had done its work. |
