Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Overall in good shape but still a little on the primitive side (a good thing), much like other trails in this region. One small blowdown on the plateau about a mile in. Two larger trees down immediately before the wooded ledge hump. This trail does not have traditional blazes but is still marked by historical Camp Mowglis "wolf" signs. Noted toppled cairns on the view spur.

Comments
Comments: After an appointment in Plymouth, I popped up here as it had been a while. A good way to refresh my memory of the trail. Conditions were mostly wet in the woods with some areas of slippery rock and moss. Also a few muddy spots. The small scramble near the top was slick but otherwise fine up and down.

The summit is viewless, but at the end of the Newfound View Spur there is still a fantastic look out to Newfound Lake and the surrounding region. Foliage colors are coming along but are not peak in this area yet. The overcast skies were also dulling the color. Soon!
