Low water on the crossing just beyond Zealand Hut. |

West Bond Spur got some needed and appreciated branch cutback. You no longer go through a carwash en route to the summit. |

Several, well-behaved dogs seen on this 19.5-mile trek. |

ZBonds out and back is 19.5 miles with 4,000 feet of elevation gain and it took us a little more than 10 hours. Weather and foliage was peak for fall. Trails were pretty crowded and hut looked full. |
