 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Camp Passaconaway is closed for the season. I parked near the mouth of the driveway. There's room there for two or three cars without blocking the gate. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The Swift River crossing is a little more than ankle deep, but there aren't any stepping stones. I waded across. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There's a blowdown on Church Pond Trail about 0.1 miles from the second water crossing. I believe a Silky Big Boy (or similar hand saw) should take care of it. |

 | Comments: |
Church Pond is only about a mile off the Kanc, but it feels very remote. About half of Church Pond Trail is bog bridges threading through marsh. It's very quiet this time of year.
Great views toward the Tripyramids from the shore of the pond. I also caught glimpses of Owl's Cliff from the bog bridges. And the tamaracks are neon yellow right now. Beautiful hike. |
