Construction work--including long, deep trenches--is going on at Hidden Valley. Parking is best at the very first spots one comes across, rather than the usual parking area near the seasonal bathroom. |

The West Brook, often a difficult crossing, was very easy. |

did basic trail maintenance on the Red from Hidden Valley to Old Stage Road and on the Blue from Old Stage Road to the Red junction. It's all passable, but some chainsaw work in two spots would be beneficial. |
