Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot is fairly large without any facilities. A Gorham Police car pulled in as I was preparing to leave to make sure my car was not being broken into.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Significant, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The one major crossing was not too difficult today. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trails are free of any significant blowdowns. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Plenty of water today. It was chilly today, especially up high and Lauky needed his jacket. there are some significant ledges near the top. Most dogs won't have a problem

Bugs: None 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There is a pair of socks hanging on a tree at the stream crossing  
 
Comments
Comments: It rained all day and the trail was wet, the rocks were slippery and the ledges up on top were slippery. I would rate this approach as a bit more difficult than the Carter Moriah trail from Bangor road.
