Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at Bennett Street Trailhead - plenty of parking if your car can get down that road - the last ~.2mi VERY rutted - ended up severely tilting the car into the brush to stay above the MASSIVE rut/washout - it's really bad!!!!

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: many crossings and much beaver activity - good chance to practice balance skills and hiking in wet shoes!!!! Never got really soaked but the feet stayed wet all day. Even some of the trails were running water.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: many blowdowns (cannot specify exactly where) and downed sign at lower Bennett Street Tr/Gleason Trail junction - was oriented incorrectly-glad I had a map!!!!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: not good for dogs - Black Mtn Pond Trail has some big scrambly sections with massive rocks and bad footing
Bugs
Bugs: they're out but not biting... swallowed a big one... YUCK!!!!

Comments
Comments: VERY fun loop - "needed" 2.4 mi of Guinea Pond Trail so decided on this loop to explore the woods and visit some old favorite trails/ponds!!!! Found some neat stuff in the woods :) but couldn't find other relics I was looking for :(. Also, visited Guinea Pond despite the swamp trying to keep me away - there's a path if you pick it carefully (hadn't been there in a while).

On the way down from Sandwich Dome, I took a detour up Flat Mountain Pond Trail to the hairpin turn but decided to turn back given the time and submerged trail in the beaver swamp. Pretty quiet today - had awesome views once the sun came out!!! :)
