Water Crossing Notes: All brooks and intermittent streams are flowing, but easily negotiable. Damp rock on ledges on the Holt T., but not significant.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Holt T. well marked though blazes above treeline starting to fade.

Bugs: Heavy black flies in parking lot. Some black flies on lower trails, not bad yet.

Comments
Comments: Saw a black bear along the stream on the Holt T. And, be aware that this trail requires a few scrambles in some dangerous areas. One significant fall zone. Worth hiking if you are fit for it.
