Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All brooks and intermittent streams are flowing, but easily negotiable. Damp rock on ledges on the Holt T., but not significant. |

Holt T. well marked though blazes above treeline starting to fade. |

| Bugs: |
Heavy black flies in parking lot. Some black flies on lower trails, not bad yet. |

| Comments: |
Saw a black bear along the stream on the Holt T. And, be aware that this trail requires a few scrambles in some dangerous areas. One significant fall zone. Worth hiking if you are fit for it. |
