Comments
Comments: A great hike to a great peak! An amazing view of the presidentials over the cliffs of stairs mountain along with views to Crawford Notch, Carrigain, and beyond. The ledges about .5 mile beyond the crawford spur are defintiely worth the visit - an interesting view of Crawford Notch. Nice clear skies all around today.

Davis below crawford spur is dry with one one or two wet patches; Davis between spur and Mount Parker - lots of mud and running water on the trail - some can be avoided, some can't but generally not too deep. Mount Parker - generally dry - there is one rock outcrop just above the Davis Path that is wet and a bit slick; the ledges are all nice and dry.

Winds were howling all day today with some gusts up to 40 MPH though with temps it was refreshing and the wind did keeps the bugs away.
