A few blowdowns on Valley Way, easy to get over them |

Abby the Wonder Mutt had a great time, except she did not like the high winds on the summit. Saw one other dog off in the distance. Plenty on water on Vally Way |

A few mosquitoes and black flies below 3200' on the way out. |

| Comments: |
Trails started out dry then had running and standing water in spots. Snow coverage started at about 4200', just a dusting to an inch or two. The higher we got the more ice and slippery conditions we ran into. There are some places that still have some monorail left. Heading up Airline was a challenge with the snow, ice and winds. We talked with one group later by the hut that aborted hitting any peaks due to the high winds. Coming back down Valley Way in the afternoon it had slippery spots as the snow was turning to slush making other areas muddy. |
