Comments
Comments: some muddy spots on three ponds trail, but mostly dry to carr mountain trail which was dry down low with some muddy wet going in spots up high. trail didn't seem to get a lot of use, but is well maintained with new blue blazes mixed with old yellow blazing to the summit. have been looking at carr for a while and finally got up there today. some nice hiking through quiet woods with decent views north from the summit area at the old firetower site. was pretty hot on the hike up, but a breeze picked up later and a passing shower provided some relief. great to be out.
