Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Cold Brook crossed on Memorial Bridge on The Link. Crossings of Spur Brook on the Cliffway and the Randolph Path by easy rock hops. Watson Path and Brookside crossings of Snyder Brook were also easy.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good condition. There is one fallen tree across the Randolph Path uphill of the Lowe's Path crossing. It is easily stepped over. Otherwise no obstructions on the trails. The Cliffway is primitive including many wet areas however it is pleasantly natural.

Bugs
Bugs: None that were bothersome! Above the treeline the steady winds may have kept them from flying.

Comments
Comments: Although there were many vehicles at the Appalachia parking lot, many of the trails I hiked had little or no other hikers. As usual, the RMC trails were wilder and more natural than the more heavily traveled trails. The Cliffway had two nice outlook ledges; White and Bog Ledges; stay attentive to blazes and signs to remain on the trail. Be careful on the Along the Brink Trail as there is a large drop off next to the trail. There were some wet areas on the Link and the Cliffway which muddied the boots. The Watson Path and Brookside provided a pleasant alternative to Valley Way.
