| Water Crossing Notes: |
Although the cascades were really ripping on Falling Waters, we had no issues with the stream crossings, although we had to rely on logs in several cases. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No blowdowns of note. Old Bridge Path and Falling Waters are quite washed out toward the bottom. I assume this is from Irene. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
This was Cardigan's longest hike to date and she did fine. She's quite agile and generally figures the best way up and down the slippery rocks. That said, she did have a couple of mild slips. My friend's dog, a 6-year-old boxer, had some issues and actually hurt her paw. We put booties on her and she was okay after that. |
| Bugs: |
No bugs until we were quite low on Old Bridle Path and even then they were minor. |
