plenty of parking in the morning, pretty full in the afternoon |

Downes Brook was pretty low and easily rock hoppable |

there were a couple of small pine step overs on the top 1/3 of the Mt Potash trail, no real major issues |

| Bugs: |
lots of mosquitoes on the Downes Brook Trail. Once on the Potash trail, the bugs were gone. |

Nice day for a hike.
we extended the hike to the Church Pond trail across the kanc. The river was NOT rock hoppable and needed to take our shoes off. The bog bridges in the low areas near the pond are in very rough shape to the point where we were tripping on the very exposed nail heads. The bog section is very muddy. |
