Comments
Comments: slightly different route to Moose which worked out nicely. Hurricane mostly good footing with some mossy greasy rocks and erosion damage above 2500 feet..long stretches of good trail tho. Gorge Brook has the well mentioned damaged sections but other than that a pretty quick climb to the ridge. Hazy views on the summit with some interesting folks. Carriage Road and Glencliff mostly dry with some slick rock. Brooks running. After this hot and steamy hike we delighted in a fantastic swim hole nearby and lounged there for awhile. Perfect water temps. We had hoped to cap off this excellent day with a round at Jeff's RedNeck mini golf but sadly they were closed..checked out the layout tho...looks good. Thanks Becca for a fine day out
