Day started out drizzly and damp and I chose this day to forget a hat!! Slippery Brook Trail a pretty steady ascent with good footing throughout and we were at the junction in no time. Trail to Eastman has been recently brushed and is in great shape..views were just starting to happen when we summited there...Baldface started to emerge from the clouds. Once to Baldface Knob we were in the clear with just enough breeze.
Remarkable clouds and undercast around..a stellar day!! Breezy and crowded on South Baldface so we kept going stopping at the interesting local views along the way. Steep and slick descent down Baldface circle trail some gave way to a nice footbed and we jogged the last few miles out. Maybe the last swim of the year was enjoyed up at the Basin. Great day out with Becca |
