Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at Douglas SF - Wallum Lake on the north end, and George Washington State Wildlife Management Area in RI, 13 miles (a bit circuitous) to the south.

Water Crossing Notes: Poles useful but not essential for a number of short water-crossings 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The North-South Trail had its wet bits but was better than might have been expected - no detours required. Clearly blazed throughout. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We saw as many dogs as people - 3 of each. 
Bugs
Bugs: Blackflies were swarming in a few areas, but not biting (at least they didn't bite me).
