Plenty of parking at Douglas SF - Wallum Lake on the north end, and George Washington State Wildlife Management Area in RI, 13 miles (a bit circuitous) to the south. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud |

Poles useful but not essential for a number of short water-crossings |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The North-South Trail had its wet bits but was better than might have been expected - no detours required. Clearly blazed throughout. |

We saw as many dogs as people - 3 of each. |

| Bugs: |
Blackflies were swarming in a few areas, but not biting (at least they didn't bite me). |
