Awesome relocation of the blue trail up Chauncy Peak. Trails are much better footing, with switchbacks. Very nice compared to the old eroded trails. |

Great hike - We took the blue trail up Chauncy Peak - great views and terrific trail. We went down, then took the Yellow trail to Mt. Lamentation(Blue Trail) Great views West and North - Hanging Hills, Sleeping Giant, Views of Hartford. We took the Blue trail back down the the parking lot near the lake. Took us about 3 hours - not the longest hike, but fun, with some elevation gain. |
