| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lot plowed and underused for Washington's Birthday. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
One 2 to 4" deep 1.5 to 2 miles from Sawyer River Rd, just before the true climb begins. Your snowshoes and boots WILL get wet. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One step-over, and a couple walk-arounds. Many snow-covered branches at shoulder height and above. It would help to be under 5' tall, as the trail thru the evergreens is not clipped for winter use. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Judah could've negotiated if Jason carried him over the brook. |

| Comments: |
Nicely packed trail, but not firm enough without snowshoes. 8.5 hours car to car, but felt longer lifting snowshoes and heavy boots. |
