Parking/Access Road Notes: Nice paved lot for a few cars on the southern end, Grassy Hill Road parking are dirt turnouts on both sides of the road

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: No crossings except for a couple of small temporary brooks after all the rain. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Overall, this relatively new road is in good shape, much of this section is comprised of former woods roads.

Bugs
Bugs: Early on it was gray and cold so not an issue, by the end a few were out. I was in long sleeves and long pants with a bandana so not a real issue.

Comments: Richard Goodwin Trail, Southern Terminus to Grassy Hill Road

Doing some research before the scouts hit this trail later in the year. Lots of Mountain Laurel which should be blooming in a couple of weeks. Appears there are a couple of blueberry bushes along the way here and there. Lots of flat trail and no climb was more than 100 feet in any one spot, most less than 25 feet.
