Comments
Comments: Water ice from runoff gets more significant heading up Mt. Hunger (3,539') from the Middlesex side. Bypassed the worst sections rather than use traction on so much mixed terrain. Challenging but fun, tricky going down the Waterbury side of Hunger to pick up the trail to White Rock. Less extensive ice on White Rock Mtn. (3,194'), nice dry rock scrambles around the summit.
