Both lots for Stowe Pinnacle and Pinnacle Meadows nicely plowed out. Looped out via Pinnacle Meadows Tr. and roadwalk to scout out road condition for future hikes and found I easily could have driven up roads to Pinnacle Meadows parking with Chev Cobalt and winter tires. |

Lots of ice on Stowe Pinnacle Tr. especially the lower half. From vista to top very little ice and nice walking. Pinnacle Meadows Tr. also very little ice. Used microspikes entire hike except for vista down to Meadows lookout where I used Hillsound Pros. Would have been a challenge using only microspikes going down Stowe Pinnacle Tr. but probably current conditions would have allowed easier off trail routing. |
