Comments
Comments: Opted to park at town garage for certainty of being able to get out. Hiked up main trail to Beaver Pond Tr. and then used this route which is partially a bushwhack but has been marked all the way and quite easy to follow. Main trail on the way down. Took 3 times as long going up with trail breaking through 15-36" of new snow. Met 6 hikers today, only 2 with snowshoes??? so can't say the trail is enjoyable. Did enjoy putting my shoes through a tough workout and they passed the test.
