Comments
Comments: Castlerock skiing area (Castlerock Double Chair)was closed due to sparse snow conditions on the trails so I had this part of the mountain to myself. Started at Castlerock Runout ski trail to Lower Lift line, Troll Road to Middle Earth. Good thing I was on Middle Earth because the Long Trail entrance actually starts about 1000' north of the Castlerock Peak's summit off the Middle Earth trail. LT to Mt Ellen and back to Lincoln Peak to Mt. Abraham back to Lincoln Peak. Quicky sled down, when possible to Jester then to Snowball ski trail. Special thanks to the friendly staff and Ski Patrol of Sugarbush Mountain for all their helpful information. Great to be hiking.
