 | Comments: |
Crisp, cold, clear morning with increasing amounts of new fresh powder leading to summit. Started with microspikes and switched to snowshoes half way up the mountain. Good visibility at summit but a strong haze layer right at the 4000' level. The top of Mt Mansfield, next destination, was eclipsed from the haze layer. |
