I parked in the winter parking lot, almost empty, only me and two other cars, by 2pm only me. |

Several streams crossing the trail bit all hoppable. |

One tree is on Dean trail close to Long Trail junction, another one is on Monroe trail above the Dean trail junction. |

It seemed I was the only one summiting Camel's Hump today. I had Microspikes on throughout the entire hike, from Dean and Long trail junction it would have not been possible to continue without it. The above treeline section required extra care and attention as the rocks were very icy.
Otherwise there was a nice thin, 5-10cm layer of snow everywhere. The temperature was below zero (32 fahrenheit) all day long. |
