It was a very nice late fall day to hike Elmore Mountain. Micro spikes are helpful from the start as trail was generally very hard packed and icy. A little snow on side of trail. Temps mid-teens with light breeze on ridge. Mt. Washington visible in distance. Barefooted up to Ridge but much easier to just go with traction devices and no worries. |
