Comments
Comments: After a few hundred yards of icy trail the rest is pretty much covered by snow - increasing in depth with elevation - and traction is greatly improved.
The last 1/2 mile to the summit has snow-fields and drifts with heavy snow - up to 18" in some places. Snowshoes or crampons would be more effective on this section but microspikes were fine all the way.
